Steward Observatory maintains an active research group in the area of star formation and early stellar evolution. Most of our efforts are observational and we make extensive use of the telescopes of the Steward Observatory located in southern Arizona, the Infrared Space Observatory , The Hubble Space Telescope , SIRTF as well as other international observatories around the world from the millimeter to x-ray wavelengths. In addition, we collaborate with members of the Theoretical Astrophysics Program and the Lunar and Planetary Lab in order to enhance our research endeavors. Topics of interest to the staff of the Steward Observatory include:

We also have a dynamic schedule of visitors to our group. Interested scientists are encouraged to contact an appropriate member of our research group and arrange a visit.
Recent work from our group can be found in the Star Formation Research Group Preprint Archive..
Every other week we meet to
discuss current research
in star and planet formation from 12:30-1:30 pm in Steward Observatory N305 . Please join us!
